Project
Navigator is expert in the application of modern risk-based approaches
to groundwater investigation, and the creation of protective cost-effective
solutions.
Tools we can apply include:
• Fate and transport, risk-based, modeling protocols
• Definition and analysis of any realistic exposure pathways
• Compilation of a site geologic/stratigraphic site conceptual
model (SCM) for possible pathway analysis
• Simple, focused groundwater flow models
• Mining of existing groundwater information and evaluation
of
any data gaps which may need to be filled for computations
• Installation, as appropriate, of sentinel wells for rapid
assessment
of groundwater conditions
We have managed many projects, which have required groundwater work.
For example, we are currently:
• Managing a groundwater RI/FS at a 40 acre landfill in Los
Angeles.
• PNL is responsible for the long-term management of groundwater
at
2 major ex-oil field sites in Louisiana |
